Ontoplano

One app for tasks, notes, bills, workouts and inventory

The usual answer to "where do I keep all of this" is five apps: a calendar, a todo list, a notes app, a spreadsheet for the bills and something for the gym. Each is good at its piece, and none of them knows that the tiles on the shopping list are for the renovation in the notes, due before the plumber in the calendar.

Ontoplano keeps those pieces in one app with one way of working. The week is blocks, repeating and one-off; tasks wait without a date until you give them one; a notebook per subject holds that subject's notes, tasks, shopping and bills. Workouts keep a register per exercise, recipes are made of the things in your cupboard, and bills are ticked off from the movement that paid them.

Where it is the wrong answer: if you want the most polished app for one of those things alone — only a todo list, only a budget — a specialist will do that one thing with more depth. Ontoplano is for the person who has tried the stack of specialists and wants them in one place.

Everything about a subject in one notebook A trip, a renovation, a course: its tasks, notes, things to buy, bills and goals together, rather than spread across apps.
